No value of innocence in Human Society
Suddenly I remembered one story of Munshi Premchand, the great Indian Hindi writer, named Do Bhailo ki katha. When I read this story it touched me and made me feel something about myself and very profound. Well, I won't be talking about the entire story but just the initial line of it which the writer says something like this:
Usually, donkeys are considered stupid and their names are used to call people stupid, but I feel they are the most innocent ones. They carry a heavy load on the back, get beaten, and are given very meagre food, but still sit happily, eat the meal, and go to work, and that bail (buffalo) is of the same category as of donkey. There is no value of innocence in human society" And that is what struck me and this is what we will ponder about in this blog.

Here's something very interesting I feel somewhere, "Innocence is of no value in terms of society as it is a marketplace now, but innocence in itself is of immense value when it comes to Human experience.
Do you remember any moment in your life when somebody was making your fun, but you didn't mind it just because you couldn't even think someone could be that nasty in its intention. The situation was nasty but your experience of it was not that unpleasant. And that is somewhat I mean in the above statement that innocence itself helps to have a pleasant experience of life, of its grace. Which would completely be missed if you are too full of yourself.
Life happens, things happen, but there is a certain unity, a certain grace within yourself that doesn't let you suffer. And so I feel that the reason at least for me, to even work for people who did nasty to me, but in my experience, it was not that bad, and other people warn me of this, that they when they will give me a nice deadly snakebite, then only I will realise. But I feel the elixir that innocence and simplicity provide within you, no venom can hurt you at least on a mental and emotional level. Physically we do have to take care.;)
But on the other hand or on the side of society they are looked at as stupids as told you, people around me also warn me, I think because it is too of a marketplace. What is basically a marketplace where you can sell services for an exchange of money. And who is smart here who gets more with less money. But this market philosophy cannot be applied to every aspect of life. But I think this attitude only kills the innocence. And the very phycology of using somebody destroys the essence and beauty of being human. and as more and more people are of this phycology, obviously who is giving more seems to be an utter fool and idiot. But as it rightly said and really something I felt in my experience, the real joy is in giving. Not in talking or bothering about what I got, what didn't, or why I got this and not that and the list continues. Well, these are lil musing. I felt after reading that line, felt like sharing.
